Patients Know Best & inicio health partner on EPR integration
Patients Know Best (PKB), Europe’s leading Personal Health Record provider, has joined forces with inicio health, pioneering patient-focused digital transformation experts, to offer a tighter integration service with Electronic Patient Record (EPR) systems. The collaboration will enable even greater efficiencies and automation for PKB’s Healthcare Customers.
With the NHS facing increasing pressure to tackle the backlogs of care, being able to harness digital and streamline processes has never been more critical. Patients Know Best is already successfully used in many organisations to engage patients digitally, manage wait lists & enable waiting well, optimise pre assessment triage, enable facilitated discharge and deliver Patient Initiated Follow Up programmes. The new collaboration allows PKB to take these programmes and automate getting data back into the hands of healthcare teams within their native systems, further enhancing the benefits that are already being seen.
inicio is one of the leading experts in deep EPR integration with rich experience in healthcare technology and strong emphasis on user-centric design. The expertise of inicio in EPR integration, coupled with a deep understanding of the needs and nuances of healthcare establishes a solid foundation for effective patient care, enabling patient generated, structured and coded data to be written back directly to EPRs to ensure clinicians and professionals can access the right data, at the right time.
Sally Rennison, Chief Commercial Officer at PKB commented: “It is with huge excitement that we announce our partnership with inicio. The expanded capabilities from this collaboration allows us to continue the drive to automation and will make a big difference to our customers’ utilisation of the platform. Working with the team at inicio has been a true meeting of minds, and we cannot wait to see this partnership deliver and grow.
“For Patients Know Best, from day one of meeting with the inicio Team, we could see there was huge synergy both between what each company was looking to achieve but more importantly in the working styles and leadership across the organisations. The understanding of the problems looking to be addressed and the credible approach taken by the inicio team was underpinned by true expertise that allowed us to quickly draw up a robust plan and deliver for our customers’”.
James Davis, CEO at inicio health added: “Our collaboration with Patients Know Best is a critical leap forward in our mission to transform digital healthcare. With the pressing need to streamline processes and optimise care, this partnership harnesses our combined strengths in EPR integration and patient-focused digital solutions. It is not merely a technology merger, but a unified vision to unlock the full potential of patient data and bring it right into the hands of healthcare providers, and vitally patients – empowering every individual. We are energised by the possibilities this alliance brings and are committed to delivering innovations that continue to exceed expectations.
“This is a great step forward in realising our shared vision of a digitally empowered, patient-centric healthcare ecosystem. We’re thrilled to be working with such a purpose driven organisation that resonate with so many of our values. Together we are taking a significant leap towards a future where technology and healthcare are harmoniously interwoven, transforming the way we view and manage our health.”
